"Makes shift swaps so much easier"
Swapping shifts is really simple with this, and it saves me a lot of back-and-forth texting. My sister was the one who suggested I try it, it’s made scheduling way less of a hassle.

"Makes managing our small team way easier!"
We’ve been using Homebase for our small team, it does a lot. Scheduling, time clock, shift swaps, messages, reminders... it’s all in one place, which is really nice. I don’t feel like I’m constantly chasing people down anymore! It did take us a little while to figure out where everything was, but once we got used to it, it’s been super helpful. For the price and what you get, I’m happy with it.

"Helpful, but a little frustrating at times"
I use it to check my shifts and pay info, and for the most part it does what I need. The annoying part is that logging in can be weird sometimes, and a few updates don’t show up as quickly as I’d like. It’s not a bad app, but when I’m trying to get quick info, those little issues can be frustrating. Overall, I’d say it’s useful, just not as smooth or reliable as it should be.

"Homebase has been easy and dependable"
We’ve been using Homebase for scheduling and clock-ins, it’s been reliable for us. Pages load without much fuss, the app doesn’t crash all the time, and my team can usually clock in without any problems. It’s not the flashiest tool out there, though that’s not really a bad thing. I mostly just want work software to stay out of the way and do its job, and Homebase does that. It’s saved us from constantly texting schedules back and forth, which is a big plus.

"Homebase has made our timesheets so…"
Homebase has made our timesheets so much easier to deal with. The clock-ins and clock-outs actually show up the way they should, so I’m not constantly fixing weird stuff like someone’s lunch break being off, a shift ending at the wrong time, missing punches, or random extra hours that don’t make sense. It’s simple to check everything, whether I’m looking at a regular weekday shift, a weekend shift, a late clock-out, or someone swapping hours. Payroll used to be one of those annoying tasks I’d put off, but now it feels way more straightforward. Happy with it so far.

"The app itself is okay, but…"
The app itself is okay, but the customer support was slow. I reached out sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and had to explain the same issue twice. Even after that, I still didn’t really get a clear answer. It’s not the worst experience I’ve had, but it was definitely frustrating

"Easy to Get Started"
I haven’t been using Homebase for very long, but it was simple to get the hang of. Signing in and setting everything up was quick, I didn’t have to hunt around for where things were. The buttons and menus were pretty much where I expected them to be, which made the whole thing feel easy. It’s just nice when a site works without turning into a project.

"The little charges are what stood out to me"
I’ll admit I didn’t pay attention to every single detail at first, but the thing I kept noticing was how quickly the costs started stacking up. A few extras here and there didn’t seem like much in the moment, but by the end it felt more expensive than I expected. If you’re like me and tend to focus on the main price, definitely keep an eye on the add-ons.

I’ve been happy with the analytics so far. Everything is easy to read and actually useful, which is not always the case with these kinds of tools. Weirdly, I remember the first time I checked it, I was eating a slightly burnt piece of toast and still ended up clicking around longer than I planned because the data was so clear

At first I was happy with the QuickBooks connection because it linked up without much hassle and seemed to do the job. But then I noticed it sometimes misses hours, and that got annoying fast. Like, everything feels smooth one minute, then suddenly I'm double-checking entries because I can't fully trust it

Got Homebase set up quickly. faster than I expected. The onboarding steps were clear enough, just kind of followed along and it made sense. I had one small question at one point, paused for a minute, found the answer fast, and kept going. So far, nice start.

I had a good experience with their compliance support overall. They got back to me quickly and helped make the forms a lot less confusing, which saved me from second-guessing everything. That said, a couple of the explanations still felt a bit too technical, so I had to ask follow-up questions. But in the end, they were helpful and made the process much easier than doing it on my own.

I’ve been using this to track labor costs week to week, and it’s been helpful. I’ll admit I don’t remember every little detail once the week is over, but this makes it easy to look back and see where things landed. Good tool if you just want a clearer picture of labor spending without overcomplicating it.

"Payroll doesn’t stress me out like it used to"
I mostly use Homebase for payroll, it’s made my week a lot easier. I used to spend way too much time double-checking hours and trying to pull everything together, and I’d tell myself that was just part of running the business, but it really didn’t need to be that hard.

Now the hours come in from the schedule and time clock, so I’m not retyping everything or scrambling at the last minute. Payroll runs smoothly, and the reminders help me stay on top of what needs to get done. I had one small question and support got back quickly, so overall it’s been worth it for the time it saves me every week.

The implementation was slow!! It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but I definitely expected things to move faster!!! Just felt like there was a lot of waiting around before everything finally came together!!
